Do you ever feel like you lack courage?
It is okay if you do. Just do not settle there! Don't be okay with dis-courage.
Faith always begins with doubt. Dreams always begin with faith.
We need to doubt our doubt. We need our lack in order to believe.
“Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.”
— Heb 10:35
Do you see that? Your reward is connected to your confidence.
Don't lay down or cast aside your confidence. Don't back off.
Get up every day and remind yourself who you really are.
Get up every day and say, "I am a champion."
Say, "I am above only, not beneath."
Say, "I am the head and not the tail."
Say, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus."
Say it and believe it, "l am a champion."
Don't lay down or cast aside your Confidence. Don't settle for less than who you really are.
We have to put on the whole armor of God. We are not like those who draw back and quit. You must be confident of the promises of the word of God— "Nothing can separate us from the love of God..."
Shout "no" to temptation. Be confident that you are an over comer.
Shout "no" to fear. Be confident that you are a warrior.
Shout "no" to doubt. Be confident that you are a believer full of faith.
No one with underdeveloped courage can do anything great for God.
Think of the Bible greats: David, Sampson, Peter, Elijah... they had one thing in common, their confidence in God!
Remember, James 5:17 says, "Elijah was a man with a nature like our yet he commanded the rain to stop and it did not rain..."
WOW! What was so great about Elijah? Nothing! He was a man with a nature like ours. What was great about Elijah was his confidence in who God was, causing him to be confident in who he was. A Holy Courage!
One last reminder, God is the king of the trade. Isaiah 61 teaches of this great exchange that can only come from God. He exchanges our lack and loss with provision and hope. He will exchange your discouragement for courage. He will take the unfair trade and turn your unrighteous self into becoming righteousness before Him. He will take your heaviness and sorrow and trade it for joy. Ashes become beauty in His presence. Fear-filled doubt becomes faith, belief, and courage... Only with God!
When we trade with God, we never trade for less.
Have courage again. Have hope that you are the son & daughter of the creator...
Be courageous in that!
